Winning Strategies Washington relies on our core principles as the foundation for all of our work. WSW is defined by five standards:
KNOWLEDGE - We know our clients and their priorities as if we were "in-house." We also know the decision makers, their views on issues and their measurements of success. That means we relate to them on their own terms and deliver a message tailored to their goals and worldview.
SERVICE AND VALUE - WSW provides solutions that fit client needs, from full-time turnkey legislative operations to serving as a "go to" addition to your existing internal team.
EXPERIENCE - Our team has served at length in key political and policy positions on both sides of the aisle. The WSW team includes a former Member of Congress, Chiefs of Staff, Legislative Directors and Committee Staff.
RELATIONSHIPS - We build long-term relationships between our clients, their Members of Congress and other key decision makers by helping them all succeed together. We build those relationships both inside and outside the Beltway. We believe relationships forged at home between Members and their constituents are the most important.
ACCOUNTABILITY - We are proud of the real and lasting results achieved for our clients in partnership with Congress and other federal government organizations.

WSW in the News
Washington, DC - ROLL CALL, Capitol Hill's highest profile Congressional news source, tapped WSW partner Mike Merola for a feature article on the effectiveness of smaller lobbying firms entitled "On K Street, Small is Beautiful."

The article cited WSW as leading the move to create an alternative to giant firms. "I think it's fair to say that a lot of our clients were former clients of the big firms who thought they could be all things to all people, but didn't know the delegation, didn't know how to work with folks from New Jersey, what's important to the state, what's important to the members," Merola said.

The full article cites WSW as a leader in a growing trend in lobbying: smaller firms with an intense focus on issues and client needs.
